sein = to be
You use sein to talk about:

Wir sind hier. = We are here.
haben = to have
You use haben to talk about:
Here are the most important forms:
Examples:
Ich habe einen Hund. = I have a dog.
Du hast Zeit. = You have time.
Sie hat ein Buch. = She has a book.
Wir haben Hunger. = We are hungry.
Here are a few short sentences with sein:
Ich bin müde.
Du bist nett.
Er ist da.
Wir sind Freunde.
Notice that the pronoun comes first and the verb changes to match it.

Here is the difference:
Ich bin Anna. = I am Anna.
